The length of the English Certificate program is flexible, it takes about12 weeks to advance to the next level and there are 6 levels. After registering for this program students will take a placement test which will determine their starting level. Most students study 12, 24, 36, or 48 weeks then go on to take an English exam or enter a College or University.

In the morning students study general English. There are six levels, from Elementary to Upper Advanced. The New Headway textbook (Oxford University Press) is used for Elementary to Upper Intermediate classes and the Cambridge Masterclass textbook is used for the Advanced and Upper Advanced classes (FCE, CAE). Students study reading, writing, communication, and structure as a part of this integrated course.

Class Options

Full Time: 22.5 hours per week (Mon-Thur 9-3:15) (Friday 9-12)

Part Time: 15 hours per week (Mon-Fri)

Students registered in the Intensive Program (22.5 hours per week) have two specialized PM Classes in the afternoon. PM Classes are specialized classes which allow students to focus on specific skills or needs. PM Classes include: Communication, Current Events and Media, Business English, Grammar, Pronunciation, Vocabulary Building, Writing, TOEFL, and Reading Comprehension.
